Open Structure package
The PVTsim open structure package is aimed at users who want to utilize PVTsim's calculation engine without the PVTsim user interface. This could be a vendor of third party software solutions or engineers who need to perform special calculations not covered by PVTsim e.g. batch calculations or simulations of simple flow sheets.
The open structure package allows all options in PVTsim's flash and hydrate calculations to be implemented in the user's application. The application can be written in any programming language supporting COM technology (Visual Basic, Excel, C++, VB.NET, C# and more). In addition to the calculation options open structure includes the PVTsim Data Access Layer, which allows the user to access and edit fluids in PVTsim fluid databases without the PVTsim user interface.
